Fukusenji Temple is a buddhist temple of the Shingon sect that was built in 1912. It is located approximately in the center of Iwate, Many people visit there to make wishes.

There are two sacred places in the precincts of this temple, and it takes 2 hours to go all around.

There is the largest Japan’s statue of Kannon as a wood carving. In addition, Fukusenji Temple is also famous for cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring and autumn leaves in autumn.
