めんこい（menkoi)
岩手弁：めんこい（menkoi)
標準語：かわいい
English meaning:Cute
岩手の方言では、かわいいをめんこいと表現します。
ex. Your baby is so menkoi(cute).
ゆるぐねぇ（yurugune）
岩手弁：ゆるぐねぇ（yurugune）
標準語：きつい、大変だ
English meaning：tough
岩手の方言では、きつや、大変をゆるぐねぇと表現します。
ex.It was yurugune(tough) getting dumped by her.
けぇー（ke~）
岩手弁：けぇー（ke~）
標準語：食べて
English meaning：Enjoy your meal
食べてという時に使う表現です。
ex.Please enjoy your meal, there’s still a lot.
まがす（magasu）
岩手弁：まがす（magasu）
標準語：こぼす
English meaning：spill
何かをこぼした時に使う表現です。
ex.I’ve magasu(spilled) juice on the floor.
うるがす（urugasu）
岩手弁：うるがす（urugasu）
標準語：浸す
English meaning：soak
水などに浸したり、ふやかしたりする時に使う表現です。
ex.Urugasu(soak) the dirty clothes in water.
あめる（ameru）
岩手弁：あめる（ameru）
標準語：腐る
English meaning：rot
食べ物などが腐ることをあめると言います。
ex.The apples started to ameru(rot) after they fell to the ground.
べご（bego）
岩手弁：べご（bego）
標準語：牛
English meaning：cow
岩手の方言では牛のことをべごと言います。
ex.Bego(cow) give us milk.
