What is Sougo Falls?
There is a waterfall that comfortably echoes the sound of the waterfall in the middle of the road leading from Hagisho to Gembikei which is also known as the scenic spot of Ichinoseki. That is Sougo Falls!
According to Kyodoshi, It is said to be named by Fujiwara Motohira who is the second son of Kiyohira Fujiwara. In addition, the lord of Ichinoseki Tatsuaki Tamura liked this place, then it was used for banquets for a long time.
It’s surrounded by rich nature, so the sound of the waterfall resonates comfortably and you can enjoy a magnificent and refreshing appearance.

Sougo Falls is located in the water, flower and green fureai (Sougo Waterfall) park. This park is facing the road, but it may be a little hard to find.
