自然豊かな一関には様々な特徴を持った滝があります。今回紹介するのは一関市厳美にある「龍神穴滝」です。侵食によって削られた丸みを帯びた岩肌とそのそびえ立つ岩壁に囲まれた広い滝壺が特徴的な滝を紹介します。

朝晩もだんだんと冷え込むようになってきて秋本番を迎え始めた岩手県。平地の紅葉の見頃は大体10月下旬から11月上旬辺り。その頃になると色彩豊かな紅葉に染まる美しい光景を楽しめます。今回紹介するのは東山町松川にある「紅葉ヶ滝」! 松川八景の一つであるこの滝はその美しさもさることながら、名前の通り秋には色付く草木も楽しめます。
