What is Rokan Cave?

Rokan Cave in Sumita town, Iwate is a limestone cave with a total length of 4,000m and a height difference of 115m. Among these, about 880m inside the cave is open to the public, so you can see the mysterious view created by nature there. In addition, The water of Rokan Cave has been selected as one of the 20 best waters in Iwate.
A dome-shaped space with a circumference of 50m and a height of 50m is located 880m ahead in this cave. And there is Amanoiwato Waterfall that One of the highest waterfalls in Japan as a waterfall in a cave.
Rokan Cave is also one of a film’s location of The Village of Eight Graves.
