What is Esashi-Fujiwara Heritage Park?

There is Esashi-Fujiwara Heritage Park in Esashi, Oshu city, Iwate.
Esashi in Oshu city is known the place where Oshu-Fujiwara clan lived .
Lord Kiyohira elected the Konjikido that was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
Esashi-Fujiwara Heritage Park is built in 1993 to shoot a japaneas TV drama ‘Homura Tatsu’. After that it is used in many japanes dramas and movies.
It is open to the public. so you can walk around it.
The Heian Era’s buildings are reproduced there, so it make you feel as if you were back in the Heian Era.

There is a 2 routes at Esashi-Fujiwara Heritage Park. The first ohe is 2 hours route to see everything, the other one is 50minutes route to see the main place.
